The DWT, using resources provided by the GWT(N), provides aid in the form of Welfare pension, medical services and Welfare Grants for British Gurkha ex servicemen (Indian domiciles), their dependents and their communities in accordance with the policies laid down by the GWT”

About Us

Who We Are

Darjeeling Welfare Trust is a public charitable trust. We provide financial, medical and hardship aid to Gurkha veterans and their families. We have established over 400 families of ex-servicemen of Indian British Gurkha Army that needs assistance in medical and hardship grant. Our commitment is to have Gurkha veterans their families and their wider communities to live their lives with dignity.
